Alsace is a unique corner of France known for its colourful half-timbered houses, ancient castles, and excellent wines. Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Sylvaner, Muscat, and Pinot Gris are some of the grape varieties that grow here and are used to make a wide range of wines, primarily aromatic white ones. On this half-day tour, you'll drive along France's oldest wine route, which stretches 170 km from north to south of Alsace and visit two wineries where guided tasting tours will introduce you to the Alsace's most iconic blends, including Grand Crus. You will also have the opportunity to visit the picturesque Alsatian village of Eguisheim to admire the region's typical timber-framed façades and brightly coloured period houses.
