Your journey begins with a pickup from your Strasbourg accommodation. Arrive in Obernai, one of Alsace's most beautiful medieval towns. The moment you pass through its ancient ramparts, you step into a perfectly preserved medieval world. Half-timbered houses, their facades adorned with brilliant flowers, line winding streets that lead to hidden squares and ancient wells.

Your guide will reveal how each architectural detail tells a story: the intricate wooden carvings that once indicated merchants' trades, the ancient fountain that served as a medieval news center, and the Renaissance courtyards hidden behind unassuming doors.

The Sacred Mountain

Your journey continues to Mont Sainte-Odile, rising majestically above the Alsatian plain. The convent complex includes a church, four chapels, and a panoramic terrace that seems to float between heaven and earth.

The site's most intriguing feature is the Celtic Pagan Wall, known as the Mur Païen. This mysterious structure stretches for 11 kilometers around the mountain, built from over 300,000 stone blocks. Rising to 3 meters in places, its origin and purpose remain subjects of debate among historians and archaeologists.
