Côte De Beaune Half Day Wine Tour - PrivateGet a taste of the region that produces some of the world’s finest Chardonnays
The Côte de Beaune appellation is famous for making some of the best Chardonnays in the world, although the majority of the wines produced here are red, made from Pinot Noir grapes. Located in the southern part of the iconic Côte d'Or, this subregion is named after the town of Beaune, famous for its annual Hospice de Beaune charity wine auction. On this tour, you’ll explore the vineyards at the heart of the so-called “golden triangle”, a stretch of land between Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet which produces highly-regarded white wines. You’ll also visit two wine estates to learn about the best wines under this appellation, which include some of Burgundy’s famous Grands Crus like Corton-Charlemagne and Montrachet, and participate in guided tasting sessions.
