Explore Burgundy’s Champs-Elysées, the reign of world-class Pinot Noir wines

In the northern part of the Côte d'Or, the Côte de Nuit region is especially known for its Pinot Noir reds. The vineyards along this 20km territory between Dijon and Corgoloin are so prestigious that they’re nicknamed the Champs Elysées of Burgundy. A scenic drive through quaint villages and lush vineyards will take you to the famous Romanée Conti vineyards, the jewel of the Côte de Nuits, for some photos and on to a private cellar for your first tasting session. Guided by a local sommelier, you'll sample wines from different winemakers paired with local sweet and savour delicacies. Lunch is free, but you'll have the option of a wine-tasting lunch at a family estate or dining in a vineyard restaurant. In the afternoon, the tour continues at the Chateau du Clos de Vougeot, an important historical site in Burgundy housing the Brotherhood of the Knights of the Wine Taster's Cup, which promotes Burgundy wine worldwide. Finally, you'll take part in an exclusive tasting of a range of red vintages.
