There's lots of fine food to try in Burgundy, whose gastronomy is based on excellent local produce and world-class wines. On this tour, you'll discover the region’s traditions and culinary delights through tastings of wines, local specialties, and regional products. You'll start the day at a typical market, either in Beaune or at the famous Les Halles in Dijon, where you'll meet producers and farmers to taste iconic local products like parsleyed ham, blackcurrant liqueur, and Dijon mustard. Lunch is free, but you can opt for dining in a vineyard restaurant, a wine-tasting lunch at a family estate in Côte de Beaune or Côte de Nuits, or a 4-course fine dining experience at Château Le Clos de Vougeot. In the afternoon, you'll drive along the Route des Grands Crus passing by quaint villages, grand castles, and endless rows of vineyards to a wine cellar, where you’ll participate in a commented wine tasting session that includes 1st Crus and Grand Crus.
