A Journey Through the Heart of Champagne: History, Tradition, and Tasting Excellence

Embark on an unforgettable afternoon tour of the Champagne region, starting in Reims at the tourist office in front of the Reims Centre train station (address: Cour de la Gare, 51100 Reims).
The tour begins with a visit to the picturesque village of Hautvillers, the birthplace of Champagne, where its rich history is explored, and the church where Dom Pérignon is buried is visited.
Next, two family-run Champagne producers are toured, providing insight into the traditional methods of Champagne production. At each winery, three tastings of their signature Champagnes are offered, ensuring a comprehensive and immersive experience.
By the end of the afternoon, six distinct Champagnes are tasted, offering a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship behind this iconic beverage.
The tour concludes back at the Reims Centre train station’s tourist office.
