Explore the finest side of French wine in the land of the country's famous bubbles

In northeast France, Champagne is a true gem for wine lovers and foodies. The first stop on this tour is Epernay, the enchanting village that many world-renowned champagne producers call home. Here, you’ll visit a top Champagne house (such as Moet & Chandon, Mercier, or Taittinger) to learn how grapes are transformed into the country's famous bubbles and sample some. After lunch (not included), you'll head to the Reims Mountain Regional Nature Park, which has Grand Cru vineyards and quaint villages, with a few stops along the way, including Hautvillers, home to one of the world's most iconic figures in wine, Dom Perignon, a Benedictine monk who perfected the champagne production method. Before returning to Paris, you'll visit a family-run winery to taste four more types of Champagne.
