Step into the heart of the Itria Valley, a region known for its ancient culture of Burrata cheese and enchanting “Trulli,” iconic conical-roofed homes crafted from overlapped dried limestone. You’ll meet your driver and depart for a traditional farmhouse where you will learn about the ancient culture of Burrata, a delicious fresh cheese, an icon of Apulian gastronomy. The lesson concludes with an authentic lunch comprised of a sampling of local fresh and aged cheeses and cured meats, vegetables from the garden, crispy friselle, bread and taralli, followed by a first course of orecchiette pasta with fresh tomato sauce flavoured with basil and a sprinkling of cacioricotta cheese. The menu also includes a second course, typically proposed by the chef with meat (vegetarian proposals on request), dessert with almond pastries, coffee and a choice of house wine (red, white, rosé), and water are included.

After lunch, you’ll visit Locorotondo, known as "the balcony over the Itria Valley" for its stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. As you wander through the town, you'll find yourself lost in a maze of quaint, narrow streets flanked by charming whitewashed houses with distinctive gable roofs, known locally as “Cummerse.” The picturesque surroundings and tranquil atmosphere make Locorotondo one of the most captivating towns in the region.

Finally, you’ll explore the enchanting Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996 and home to the largest concentration of Trulli in all of Puglia. These mythical structures, part of the local heritage, dot the landscape, creating a truly magical setting.  Drawing millions of visitors every year, this charming town invites visitors to stroll through its narrow, winding streets lined with these iconic stone dwellings.
