This itinerary is around the northern side of the volcano between forest trails and fun off-road paths on ancient lava flows,guide will lead you through antique villages full of history and tradition, the old streets will soon leave their way to the characteristic paths in the rich woods of the beautiful “Parco dell’Etna” to gradually assist to the power of the Volcano and the deep changes which is able to make on the surrounding landscape. The Tour starts with a magnificent walk on the edge of extinct craters in order to understand the structure of the Volcano and the lifecycle of an eruption. Afterwards, equipped with strings, torches and helmets you will visit a lava cave and back on the 4WD you will climb up an ancient lava flow in order to reach one of the most breathtaking sceneries that Mt Etna gives us, such as the renowned “Valle del Bove”.
